Class 4 Breadmaking

On Friday 15th January Class 4 spent much of the day making bread. After starting a sourdough mix the previous week they used this to provide the yeast for their bread mix.

After mixing the dough and letting it prove, they shaped the bread into a leaf form - making a traditional French "fougasse" bread. A second rise and a fairly quick bake in the oven and they were done. Here are their results! Good enough to eat...
