Pupil Progress

27th September 2019
This week, leaders and governors have been looking at our progress scores for KS2 SATs. These look at how much progress children make from the end of Year 2 to the end of Year 6 (and as such take account of children’s different starting points) and are the government’s preferred measure of the performance of primary schools. They are the headline figure given in the DfE’s performance tables which are released in December each year.

The charts below compare the school’s performance with that of Cambridgeshire as a whole local authority and England. The figures are obviously based around the England average and so this does not move. In these graphs, higher is better.

These outcomes recognise the hard work by pupils, families and staff over the last two years and I feel that we are in a strong place to seek to improve even further.
